How do background checks work for online firearms purchases?

All firearms purchases require a federal background check through the NICS system. This check is completed as part of our order processing workflow. In most cases, the check is completed within minutes. Delayed responses from NICS may extend processing time by up to three business days. You will be notified of any delays via email.
