The geometry is derived from original ATF-approved drawings with dimensional refinements based on extensive cycle testing. Critical surfaces are polished to minimize friction wear during the firing cycle.
The Lightning Link is compatible with standard mil-spec lower receiver AR-15 platforms chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington. Compatibility with .300 Blackout, .350 Legend, and other calibers that use the standard AR-15 bolt carrier group is also supported. The component requires an M16 bolt carrier group for proper function — standard AR-15 bolt carriers are not compatible.
