The Benelli Ethos Field is a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun with an AA-grade satin walnut stock and an engraved receiver. Its 28-inch barrel takes 3-inch shells and comes with five chokes, from Cylinder through Full. The gun has a 4+1 capacity, weighs 6.8 pounds and measures 49.5 inches overall. The inertia-driven action cycles a broad range of loads, including light 7/8-ounce loads, and a Progressive Comfort recoil system is built into the stock. Bead sights and a manual safety complete the set.

In California this suits a hunter who wants a walnut-stocked field gun with a full set of chokes for mixed loads. Check the current CDFW mammal hunting regulations for 2026-27 dates before you plan a trip, and use non-lead ammunition for any wildlife taken with a firearm in the state.
