CCI GamePoint is a .17 HMR rimfire cartridge with a 20-grain jacketed soft point bullet. The brass cases are loaded in a 50-round box for field use and practice. The supplier describes a bullet that creates clean channels with limited hide and meat damage, and the cartridge gives a flat trajectory for precise shooting. The bullet is designed for small game hunting with reduced hide and tissue disruption.

In California this is a small game load for a .17 HMR rifle, where accurate shot placement matters more than volume. Any wildlife taken with a firearm in the state needs non-lead ammunition, so check the load meets that rule before the field trip. Brass cases support reliable chambering and extraction in a .17 HMR rifle, and the same box also covers range sessions.
