CCI Quiet-22 is a .22 LR cartridge loaded with a 40-grain segmented hollow point bullet at a nominal 710 feet per second. The load has brass cases, which support dependable rimfire function, and comes in a 50-round box. The supplier describes a reduced muzzle report of about 75 percent less perceived noise than standard .22 LR, and says the load suits reduced-noise target practice.

For a California shooter, this quiet rimfire load fits range sessions where a lower report is wanted, and small game work with a .22 LR firearm. Any wildlife taken with a firearm in California needs non-lead ammunition, so confirm the bullet meets that rule before using it on game. The 50-round box suits both range sessions and small game trips.
